    Like, hi.

    I have a xanga? How odd, I'd forgotten.

    Yes, I'm still alive, single, in love with horses, an English major, and tired.

    Thank you.

    I also managed somehow to rip the skin completely off the bottom of my left-foot's big toe during a particularly energetic swing with Nathaniel F. at the last contra (which was wonderful, as always, but increased exponentially more so because of the band that played). I think I used 'exponentially' incorrectly there. Whatever. You still knew what I meant, right? Right.

    Cani, Figwit, Sir Percy, and Sir Sigma are all fine, furry, finny, and full of flattery and finesse.

    I'm going to bed. If something interesting happens in my life, I'll let you know. Otherwise you can just assume I'll be graduating in two years and going globe-trotting with Priscilla.

    Oh, I am going to Cranberry this Friday with Mrs. J and my parents so I can get fabric for my Pemberley Promenade dress and the parents can all buy groceries and beer. Or something.

    Tallis Scholars concert in Pittsburgh next week, Pemberley the week after!

    Doesn't it just stink when you know you have a silly weakness for something, and recognize it, and ignore it, but can't get rid of it completely? And it crops up at annoying times? And I'm making no sense?

    Good.

    Buh-bye, now.

    A few snippets of good poetry from American Lit.

    "Oh! fight My Field: no Colours fear:
    I'll be thy Front, I'll be thy rear.
    Fail not: My Battles fight.
    Defy the Tempter, and his Mock.
    Anchor thy heart in Me thy Rock.
    I do in thee delight."
    ~Edward Taylor

    "Thou as a bridegroom from thy chamber rushes,
    And as a strong man, joys to run a race;
    The morn doth usher thee with smiles and blushes;
    The Earth reflects her glances in thy face."
    ~Anne Bradstreet

    I spent Friday with some weird people.
    No, seriously.

    Hey!  Just in case folks get a wrong idea, I'll offer that your dad bought a box (24?) of Sam Adams in JUNE, when we had beer-drinking guests, and after using three bottles in various recipes over the months since, I saw at last count last week that there were six or eight bottles left.  Just for the record.

    Hmmmm....I seem to have put in another "for the record" post recently.  Wonder why?

    Love,

    Mom

    We need to talk about the crowd you're rolling with.

    I mean...

    they're so white and nerdy.

    Hello Ms. Marsch,
    You made your site so simple yet elegant. The videos are a nice touch. I see that you are a student. I’m glad that’s all over with for me!
    I’m sending an important message to people about God’s plans for us that is in the Bible: 9 I, the LORD, will show no mercy or pity when that time comes. In my anger I will destroy the earth and every sinner who lives on it. (Isaiah 13:9) (CEV)
